What is you budget?
YOu can do the typical stuff: Intake, exhaust, retune the chip. each will cost about $200-400.

What happened? What differance did it make? Better, worse or the same?
Did it make the truck louder?

Curious about teh shorty's too. I've got two studs cracked off (one on each manifold end, of course), and I was gonna pop a set of shorty headers on when i got to doin the job. Are they really no good? At least better than stock manifolds though right?

actually, it did make the truck a little more rev happy. i had to remove the steering column to remove the old manifold. has a little leak at the bottom now, but i'm too lazy to fix it. i got the Edelbrock "ti-tech" coating that "would not rust" HA! five months and they are already rusting. go with stainless steel if you have to get some. mine were $275. i was hoping for more sound, but as long as i have the 2 cat converters, not much louder. they were supposed to deliver "seat-of-the-pants performance over stock manifolds," but i was dissapointed.
