Nah. You don't want that Initial D RC car. You want to track down the Kyosho MiniZ series Initial D Hachiroku. True 1/28th scale and still a full function hobbyist's RC car. That looks like your standard Radio Shack POS.

oh kyosho makes awesome bodies. they're harsh detailed. and tamiya too..but you'll be paying a bit more for kyosho and tamiya stuff. I'd go for a 1:10 scale tho. I used to be into rc cars but they're way too expensive.

If I'm putting more than $50 into it, I'll build my own 1/10 scale using a chainsaw engine and tube steel/fiberglass body :D

Real rubber tires, and awesome drifting!

you must never been into the rc hobby cause puttin a chainsaw motor in a 1/10 will leave you with no room for electronics or gas tank or anything like that. you would have a better change makin a 1/6 scale with it in it. i used to be in the rc hobby hardcore but its waaaayyyyy to expensive.

It's not that expensive if you make a lot of your own parts.

You're right though, that would never fit in a 1/10th scale, it'd have to be bigger.
