I just looked at this post that one of you guys saing that a 92 SI lude is gonig for like around $5,500 so then I was wondering either I got a good deal for my car or a 95V-tec DOHC lude is not worth that much beause I got mine for $6,900 and it came woth : DC Headers K&N Intake
Muffler, 17"Tenzo R wheels, Field FSC VTEC Controler some amps 12" speaker, it's leather interior, Droped, MSD IGNITION CONTROL/spark plugs and a polished Head gasket.

So I don't know what you guys think?

location judges car prices, along with vehicle condition.

haha.. polished head gasket (also known as a "PHG" in the enthusiast world) will most likely get you gains upward of 30 HP as long as your wiper blades aren't dull.. bored out timing belt doesn't hurt either..

BTW: I paid 5500 for my lude? too much? I say nay..

Paid $2,000.00 for my 1994 Prelude. It's an "S" and has the SOHC engine, but I still think I got a good deal for it. Have to love it when you have friends that go out and get pregnant and then have to sell off their coupes for sedans... :)

in general, vtec ludes will / should be more expensive. they're the better of the two cars.

as stated... it depends on the condition/mileage/location of the car, as well as the knowledge of the owner.

it's always a concern to me when a car has a ton of aftermarket products on it, b/c you don't know who put em on, (if they did it right) and how hard the car is beat on.

there was an article i read in motor trend *i think it was motor trend*
and it was about "race ready" cars in the classifieds, and how it turns out to be a horror...

i think the same when i see a car with substantial parts for sale. what will i have to do to get it RIGHT again...
