96 Transport stalls at star up

My 96 transport stalls only for a moment after the vehicle has ben park over nigth or after a few hours. If I turn on the key in the morning and wait for few seconds the vehicle starts to like choking for few about 30 seconds, untill stabilize it self. If I tried to drive it imediately after I turn on the engine it will choke several times before it stops, in order to prevent this while driving I have to give some gas to it 'till cough a few times then stabilize.
Any ideas, will be appreciated, please is driveing me crazy.

Sounds like idle air control or egr valve, I used to have a 3.1 in a tempest and the problem cleared itself after changing the gasoline pressure regulator. Also on the 3.1 I was getting fault codes, you should check for codes.

Actually I tried to read the code but there is none, so I'll try the egr valve and the air control
