I was going threw all of my car reciepts and I decided to add up how much I have spent on the car since day-1. I got the car on March 23, 05 so this is from then to present.
I totaled everything up to be around $5100, probably more around $5400 by the time I add up everything I have bought in town, I dont save many of those reciepts. This includes tires, alignment, and anything like that.
I also have around $1250 worth of free parts I have gotten for the car.
Its a shame when the aftermarket parts cost more than the fuckin car did!!
Lets see how much you guys have spent, maybe it will make me feel better.

I'm almost positive I'm upwards of $25k if you add up all 3 cars. The RS, TSI AWD, and the GST. Looking back on it..I'd do it all over again.

This thread makes me feel sick to my stomach... lol... I am scared to add it all up... All I know is that so far I have spent nearly 10k on my motor and tranny... Originally paid 3k for it... 1k on redoing the body and a nice paint job... I don't even wanna add up all the other stupid things... :(

Actually the DOHC head swap will happen.... But it will be on my spare 92 6 Bolt 4g64 2.4L block. Forged internals, slight bore, DOHC head...the works...its all planed out. And if I have my car as long as I plan on having it....forever....then I promise an AWD conversion will happen. You read my mind thor06
