i currently have on my car....
-ACT 2600 clutch
-big 16g turbo
-K&N filter
and some other things i forgot to mention...

Anyways my question is I am about to upgrade to a 20g turbo and 680cc injectors. I know that a FMIC is most likely needed to run the car safely but after installing the 20g turbo and injectors i'm going to take a 1k mile road trip to a different state and get a FMIC there...is it safe to add the bigger turbo + injectors when i am at low boost? (8 psi or the lowest it will go)
I'm not going to be racing or anything but i will be on the highway for a while. I will also be hauling a small Uhaul trailer thing. Thanks

+ Also another quick question, after i tune my car with DSMLink after the turbo + injectors do i have to tune it Again after the FMIC? thanks

Your going to be hauling a u-haul with your eclipse ? not adviseable...but no, its not a wise idea to run without a FMIC on anything over 6 psi really :/

No uhaul man.

And it wont hurt your car to run without a FMIC. Just dont boost alot, but the stock SMIC would be fine for that low of boost. You only need the fmic when your side mount cant cool anymore and gets heatsoaked. So to run like 20psi you would deffinately need a fmic but you probably could run 15psi or so and be fine. You might not want to risk it though.

But he has the stock SMIC, and he should be fine on that on low boost. I for sure wouldnt beat on it though. Also, you do realize that you are going to need DSMlink before or at the same time as the injectors right?

I would not haul a trailer if you can help it. Why the hell do you even have a hitch on your car?

As for the FMIC, you will not NEED to retune afterward, but I would recommend it. With the added cooling power of the FMIC you should be able to more aggressively tune it and you know what that means dontcha?

I would just leave the 20g and injectors off if you really want to make the drive and haul that trailer. Just leave what you have on there now, it works and there is no reason to throw everything on there in haste just because you have it now.

You are definately going to be in for a good day or so of tuning once you get all that crap on.
