Replace Ignition Key Switch in 1989 F-150

Where can I find directions to replace the ignition switch for a 1989 F-150, or is it easy enough that someone could tell me how to do it?

The key cylinder and the ignition switch are two different parts. Which one? You might want to get a manual(Haynes).

why/ whats wrong with truck

On the bottom of the column is a small hole. With key in switch and in on posistion put small screwdriver in hole to release lock cylinder :nono: but it will not work without the key.
