doin a little research, couldnt seem to find the answers.
are the production figures on stealth316 accurate? Were there really only 57 r/t tt's produced for '96? anyone know if there were any 1 of 1's?
and the stripes...are they a stock paint option? was it ony available on the TT trim? for what years?
thks guys

As far as I've been able to find those are accurate. Not sure if any are one offs. Stock I think you could only find racing stripes on 2nd gen TTs.

I've never seen a Stealth that came stock with stripes.
Yes those numbers are for real. 96's are rare as hell.

its just strange becasue probably 25% of the stealths ive seen in my live have had stripes...
for the production...you wonder why they would even bother making any at all with a production run that limited. and its not like they were just left over 95s, since the chassis was different, correct?(Z15 or w/e) not to mention the spoiler...Was there any other stealth-specific changes from 95 to 96? (other than normal 3/s changes)?

there are actually only 56 dodge stealth tt for 96(57) but one is still owned by chrysler. that means that the lavender stealths are one offs. only two out on the public road(both in michigan) and optioned differently, so kinda one off.
other than the spoiler i dont think there is a difference between 95 and 96...well yea chassis to...i think it was the same one used on the gto mr(correct me if i'm wrong)
racing stripes were not an option, just one of those aftermarket things...i've only seen one stealth in person with em...u can buy em on ebay for like 20 bucks

Its actually called Orchid Pearl.
95 and 96 Stealths had teh exact same chassis. They were built on the z15 chassis. 91-94 Stealths were on teh Z16A chassis.
And yeah, seriously, just look at 3si and the sig pics. There are VERY FEW cars with "racing stripes".

The VR4 my buddy just picked up has stripes on it.
These cars lines do take well to the stripes though.

googlec search dodge stealth production numbers or specs. it'll pop up on the first page. it lists all 1996 stealth tt. colors and options, how many of each...really good info. it also states that one orchid pearl is owned by chrysler.
and i'm thinking people that spent 44g or so on the car have a clue that the car was in its last production year...that or have been told that over the years its a rare car.
i think red or galaxy white were the most common at like 17 or 18 each. the green was like 4

also forgot to mention...there are no rear brake ducts behind the doors on the 96. well there might b just not like they were from 91-95. it was smoother...more mature but still kept the sports car look.
i'd still rather a 95 over a 96 tho(i'd b afraid of crashing the 96)
