1) Yes i primer the interior, i primer every part of a kit except for the clear parts, and chrome parts:flash:
2) for the most part I use testors little bottle paint, but sometimes use automotive paint(I GOT TO GET SOME TAMIYA)
3) havent tinted windows before, but it must be your paint, but cant really help you there

It's not Really Important to prime the inside if you haven't got the paint, but it pays too if you can. All the paints you need have to be a Matt finish(seats etc) or a semi gloss(dash etc)
Tints......Put a light coat of water mixed with dish wash onto the window then lay the tint over the window. To help get all the bubbles out, get a soft cloth or brush and keep smoothing the bubbles out(shouldn't be that many if you have done it right.)

If you have an airbrush Tamiya's Flat crylics cannot be beat for interiors. For 2 tone interiors you can mask for the second color in 10-15 min.(Try that with Testors)and they can easily be stripped with ammonia or alcohol. I am still amazed when I see people using gloss colors for interiors. Use flats and you can add sheen to things that need it by rubbing withyour finger or coating with Armor All Protectant.

Thanks for the tip 935k, I think I'm gonna try using tamiya acrylics for the interior.

You are welcome. The thing to think about when painting interiors and various parts is if it is not painted(like a dashboard) on the real car it shouldn't look painted on the model, and the air brush is the best way to do that and your models will look cleaner and more like the real car instead of a model.

Yeah...too bad airbrushes and compressors are expensive :(
