2000 Blower Motor Went Out

:banghead: 2000 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER AWD V8 5.0 LITER - blower motor went out came back on for a couple of seconds then failed completely - all the fuses are okay - is it the motor or, the relay located beneith the blower motor?

Don't know without you performing more troubleshooting. You'll need to probe the blower motor while it's failing to determine if voltage is making it to the blower motor. If not voltage, it's probably not the blower motor and you'll need to trace the wiring back to determine where the voltage discontinuity occurs. If there is voltage to the motor, and it is battery voltage, then the problem is most likely the blower motor.
