2006 SV6 Stereo Control Problem

I have a 2006 Montana SV6. Lately the stereo controls on the steering wheel have been messing up. Sometimes you can't use the steering wheel controls at all. They just do not respond. Also there are times the stereo will change stations without the driver touching anything. Is there something that can be done here. Has anyone else had this problem. We took the van to the dealership today and they said everything worked fine for them. When we picked up the van my wife hadn't driven five miles and the dang thing changed stations on her! Is there anything I can do at home to check this out?
