coil problems

i have a 99 grand am 2.4l i changed the igition coils, boots and the housing two time in the last 3 monthes and they went bad again is there something that would cause them to go bad so fast! My wife had a 93 that did the samething before she traded in on this one.

Where did you purchase the parts ?

You get what you pay for, some parts are just not a very good quality.

And how do you know they are bad?

Whats the problem thats occuring ???

the car sputters when starting out and it will sputter at speed also , the parts are from the dealer.i had to replace them 2 years ago also. you can see black marks on the boots and housing.
