Wierd noise when acelerating

When i accelerate froma stop i get a poping sound on the front driver side wheel..Sounds like two metal parts hiting once..When i accelrate fast and let go of the gas it makes a bang noise just on one drivers side? DOes anyone know wat might be the problem..CAn it be my enging mounts or struts or my BRAKE CALIPER?? THANKS

does your ridemake a cracking sound when u turn in one direction at low speed? ... if so it could be CV joints ... or some front wheel axle prob .. just a thought .. some thing to check out
