How do I collapse the rear pistons in my calipers. I tried screwing them in to no avail. How do they adjust themselves?

Welcome to the forum!

The method to compress the rear caliper pistons has been addressed a few times on this forum. One of the very useful tools on this forum is the "Search this forum" utility in the upper right of the Lincoln LS forum main page. Search for the keywords "rear calipers" and you will get a few good hits.

As for the way in which the rear calipers self adjust, that is performed by using the parking brake.
