I need to replace (at the very least) the pinion bearing on a 95 Yukon with a 10 bolt rear and limited slip. while I have set up many danas in the past and have all the required tools, I am at a loss as to how to remove the carrier from this rear end. Any Help would be apprectiated

Does it come out the front or out the rear ?

Welcome to AF. The proper way is to use a case spreader, which is really what is recommended on the Dana, although I just pried them apart. The Chev diff uses shims between the bearing and the housing whereas as you know the side bearing shims were behind the bearing on the Dana, thus the issue of pressing them off or getting the slip fit bearings. Just be careful to keep the lt and rt side shims in order ( you knew that).
