89 lx oil light blinking

My g/fs 89 lx carbed accord oil light is blinking. at first i though it might be lose and she mean flickering, but it's blinking, and no it's not the service light. i used to own an 89 lxi efi and never remember this light blinking, any thoughts?

How's the oil level? Mine blinks when the oil level's getting low, then I pitch it around a hard turn, starving the pump...
