It's called sarcasm. We are all curious about this special carb setup. He says he cant get pics of it, yet he can get all sorts of pics of other stuff.

Honestly, I dont care if he is full of shit or not. I really want to see this carb design. I have rolled the idea of going with carbs. But if they can be made cheaper, than $500 - $700 then fucking-a, spread the knowledge.

You don't have to take pics of the carb setup on the car you can take a pic with it off. I'm not being a smartass about it, but if you don't have it than just say so. How's the shaving coming ? Oh Kris my friend has the webers, yeah a little pricey but well worth it to him. I don't know if i would do it myself, but if you can find a cheaper way to do it than i would go for it. With all of the knowledge in this forum i would say that we should be able to all think something up.

Eaxactly, webbers are a pretty penny.

DSR- I would prefer a pic of them off the car anyways. It would allow me to see the setup better.

i run it off my stock manifold..its not that hard....really the cost for me was only about 200 and that was for the carb..used the stock setup...i will get a diagram together..also remember this is easiest to do on a PGM-FI because it is already set up like a carb would be....i will get the diagram and get some stuff up for you to see...

You run it off the stock manifold. I really want to see this thing. What carb are you using ?

right now im running a GM carb because the demon carb needs a more custom install that i dont have time for....get a small GM carb for a 6 or even 4cyl...unless you want to go big like i am doing with the demon but that costs more.....take the PGM-FI unit out...get a spacer (for a GM carb) and tap it to fit..really not too hard sound harder than it really is...ill see if i can dig up the diagrams...to show

i think darksyde is just talking about using the DX intake manifold and putting another carb on it besides the "glorified carb" DPFI throttle body. In reality this probably woudln't make any more power because it still uses the common plenum idea and small runners. to make a carb setup better than MPFI, either you'd have to enlarge the common plenum and run, say a 4 barrel, or make your own custom manifold and run individual throttle bodies/carbs. just my 2 cents.

Dx intake mani + some different carb = not that big of a difference from a DX.
