93 shuts off

hey all,
got a bit of a prob. i have a 93 p71 that shuts herself off.
when its cold it starts fine, runs about 5 minutes and shuts off. i still have power to every thing, lights radio, but the engine wont start, it turns over like it wants to but wont run. if i leave it set off for 10 minutes or so it'll sart again and run for another 5 then shuts off. it dont sputter when it shuts off either, its just like i turned the key back. i can hear the fuel pump kick on fine, was kinda thinking somethinf with power to plugs. just thaught if anyone had some idea where to start i'd appreitiate it

When it shuts off, do you still get a strong spark? Pull a plug wire off and pop an old plug on there and see what heppens.

did that tonight, this time car ran for about 25 minutes b-4 it died. there was no spark at all on either side of engine. when it was running i shut it off a few times and restarted it after it was warm, it started but for the fisrt 5 seconds or so it ran bout 250-300 rpm tehn went up normal.

Seems like one of two things, crankshaft position senor or ignition control module.
