1990 e150 problems with lights and stero

i just purchased a 1990 e150 with a 5.0 and im having a problem trying to fix my interior lights and radio, all the interior lights that run throw the switch panel up top work, but when you open the door no interior lights come on, am i missing a switch somewhere, or is it a fuse problem, and my radio does not work so i pulled the dash out and it was unplugged becauase of an aftermarket wiring kit, so i hooked it up and still nothing, so i think they might be on the same fuse am i correct? but when im driving at night, the radio keys and knobs light up so i know its getting some power? any ideas i think it might have just blown up who knows it was in the van when i got it,

another problem is cruise control does not work , i have no clue where to begin there but any suggestions?
