Removing Seats...

We're going to replace the front seats as the rails have rusted out and am not a fan of pleather. We couldn't figure out where one of the bolts are on the back side. We got the two front ones off and the back right one I believe, so where's the other? Is it hidden in the rail?

The outer bolt is inside the rail, under a plastic cap if yours still has it, but it is on the very end of the rail so theres no reason why you shouldnt see it. The other is under another plastic cap but closer to the e-brake tunnel rather than IN the rail.

ah that makes sense...the seats are rusted right back so maybe that's why it wasn't that visible. Thanks for your help.

Slide the seat all the way forward and you'll see the final bolt :smooch:

Problem is I can't slide the seats forward at all cause they're rusted to hell...which is why I'm trying to replace them. We've trying knocking them 'lightly" with a hammer without bending any metal to loosin' them but it won't budge. Thanks though.

WD40, or some other penetrating oil. Try not to get it on the carpet lol. Oh and how the hell do your seat brackets rust? Are you riding around in your car jeep style?
