95 Riviera AC problems

Did a top end rebuild on my 95 SC Riviera. AC worked great before the rebuild but it did sit for 6 months. The R134 is at pressure and everything looks/seems good. The clutch doesn't seem to be engaging on the compressor. I have not been able to check for a signal through the plug yet. What do you think is wrong, and what signal should I get through the plug if I test it. Plz help.

With the A/C on you should have 12 volts at the compressor plug.

Checked the AC clutch plug voltage and have no reading while the car is on and AC is turned on in the car. Checked the fuses/relays, everything looks good. Where should I look next, or is this a problem I should let a mechanic figure out.

If you are low on R134A the compressor will not work. Unplug the A/C pressure switch and put a jumper wire across the 2 terminals in the plug(not the sender). The compressor should run.

I am having the same problem with my a/c i was told to try replacing the relay box under the drier. i dont really have the time to do it right now but if i do get the time i will let you know if that works.

Should be a sensor on tank that you put in your r134a (too early to think of the name) that engages the compressor clutch with enough pressure if its faulty your ac will not blow any cold air.
