where to get v8 engine kits?

hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone knows where to get small block chevy engine kits for the 1/25 scale. the reason i say attn PMAN is because i saw some moroso valve covers on a model of yours in the gallery, and was wondering where you get your small block chevy dress up stuff?


any help would be greatly appretiated guys, dont let me down!:D

A lot of the Monogram kits have nice V-8 Chevy engines. I bought one, I think it was called Pro Stock Firebird and it had a nice BB Chevy with two Dominators and a Lenco. Also the 78 Z-28 has a nice small block with the finned crossflag Corvette covers.

Check out the pics on the boxes. Usually they show the engine. The big block one I has was one of the nicest ones around. If I have the time when I get home I will snap a pic for you.

There used to be Garage Kit makers who specialized in engines but I am not sure if they are still around. Anybody know??
