airbag readiness light in 97?

the airbag light keeps flashing in sets of 4 flashes, then a breif pause. any ideas? I heard somewhere that the flashes tell you whats wrong if you know how many. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Flash 4 times by 4 times is Airbag diagnostic code 44. Right hand Radiator primary Crash Front AIr-bag sensor not mounted to vehicle properly. Poor ground. This could be a poor connection due to loose mounting, dirt or corrosion at the right hand radiator primary crash front air bag sensor bracket mounting location. Wires going into the sensor are GN/R, BK/R and BL/W (ground wire). For obvious reasons don't drop the air bag sensor.

To disable the air bag system before working on it should be done by disconnecting the the ground at the battery for 15 minutes.

The next possiblity is that an open or damaged wire in circuit 618 (BL/W) from pin 20 of the air bag diagnostic monitor connector to the RH radiator primary crash front air bag sensor connector. Or


The third possibility is an open circuit inside the RH radiator primary crash front air bag sensor.
