Hey, I just got new brakes put on my 95 grand prix all the way around and the "brake and SBS" lights are still "on" in my dash. Is there a way to reset these so the lights go off or will they in time when the brakes have been worn for awhile. Thanks

The brake light (the RED one) is indicating either a loss in brake system pressure or low brake fluid. You can check the fluid level sensor in the master cylinder fluid reservoir to see if it's bad or mucked up with goo. The ABS light indicates a problem with either a wheel speed sensor or the EBCM. On this car, the front ABS wheel speed sensor reads off the CV axle and is not a part of the hub bearing (the rear is part of the hub). You'd be best off having it scanned with an ABS capable scan tool to determine what is causing the ABS light, as DIY tests on this type of system are difficult.

Thanks, I will check. I just paid some serious cash at a dealership to get the brakes done, do you think that they should identify/correct the issue? I am thinking taking it back. DE

Take it back.

I agree, take it back and let them deal with it. If the ABS and brake lights were on when you took it there, and that's why you had them do the brakes, then they didn't really fix what you asked, did they?
