CD player 'disc error'

Hey has anyone else had problems with their CD player in the 06 Civic?...mine is really picky about what CD's it will actually play....I get alot of 'disc error' messages.

Hmmm, haven't run into one of those yet. Not trying to flame, but are the discs scratched at all? Also, are they mp3/wma, or standard cd's?

hey i had a few cds do that to me in my old 06 ex but i think it was just b/c mine were so old. But since i got my Si i havent had a problem with it.

burned cds play differently than the ones u buy at the store and yes if the format is mp3 and the stereo doesnt support it thats why u get error
