What's a fare price for a 1986 5.0 hatchback with 37k miles. The body is in fare condition with some small rust spots and some dents on the back fender. The interior is in ok condition although the wiring seems to be a little messed up. The passanger side window doesn't work. It started up with no hesitation and there didn't seem to be any odd colored exhaust.

There are a few parts where the rust does go through all the way. I found out today that the front window is kracked and the hatch doesn't always close. Stereo and speakers have been taken out and the rear bumper looks a little loose. He's asking 1500. What do you think?

I'd walk away if you have any doubts. 37k miles? Are you sure its not 137? Another thing, the 86 mustangs had a crap a$$ motor in them! 200hp compaired to 225 in 87. The heads flowed like crap, intake was very restrictive, and the TB was smaller. All in all a prototype FI motor. Your best bet would be to spend the money you would be putting in that car and put it towards a 87-93 mustang. you can find a decent one for about $2500 or so.

Well, I ended up not buying the car. I went with a friend to check it out a second time and decided against it. Thank you all for the advice.
