ok so i bought a 95 gs with an automatic for real cheap (700) and planned on swaping from auto to manual, which i'm dedicated to doing. i just need to know what ot buy, other the the tranny and clutch of coarse, to get the project done. money is somewhat of an issue also....

well, with the 2g's, you have to remember to install the flux capacitor. this will help you channel that power that you need to break the time barrier.

I got a tranny I can sell you real cheap. $20, you would just have to deal with 2nd, 4th, and 5th grinding every shift

If you got a gs, it has the 420a motor, which is a chrysler based motor. The biggest thing you would have to worry about in this swap, is the ecu. the automatic tranny computer would be removed, but this would easily affect how your car idles if you do not reset the main computer under the hood. the only two wires to the tranny would be reverse light and speedometer. Good luck with the swap. you are going to need some patience to work in that tight area. you are going to have to remove some extra parts that in the way to make the process go faster.

so how do i reset the computer under the hood? and being that i took both the tranny and motor out i'm hoping it will be alot easier.
