Timing Belt or Timing Chain?

I'm considering purchasing a 94 regular cab with 4 cylinder engine with about 74,000 miles. I think I read somewhere that some Nissans have rubber timing belts (which are supposed to be replaced about this mileage) and some have metal timing chains, which last much longer. What does this vehicle have? Thanks.

it has the ka24 if it is a 4 cylinder.
it has the chain .
and in most cases it is not the chain it is the chain tensioners that go bad.
120 k miles to 160 k miles is a good point of refrence on timing chain guides ,
unless you hear the signature timing chain slap before said mileage..
