Any reason why you picked Mugen? They are like 2x as much as other brands.

I recommend Progress Group or Suspension Techniques. I'm using OEM on my Civic Si but going to upgrade to Progress Group front and Comptech Rear.

I'm thinking about the mugen because the it is easier to install and it is made to fit the civic as perfect as possible.

i dont like suspension technique at all...the man reason is that if you dont have a lift it takes for ever to put in...

and my friend's st sways are always easily damaged...and his car is stock height

but i have not heard anything good or bad about progress...

i have a Neuspeed 28mm rear, and i removed the front. handles excellent, with a slight tendency to oversteer.

A sway bar is a sway bar. It's all matter of preference really.

Who told you you needed a lift to put a ST sway bars on but not a Mugen?

Are you sure your friend put on his sway bars on right? They shouldn't hit anything when installed correctly. If anything the exhaust should take most of the damage.

Plus with the money you save on buying a non-Mugen bar can be put towards other things.

Amen to that. What sucks though is, I put an OEM 13mm Civic Si rear swaybar on my Civic DX coupe, end even that bar, I had problems with it rubbing against my World Sport exhaust when I'd go up ramps at angles and whatnot. So I had to go, and cut off the excess part of the bolt that was scraping. It still sits pretty close to the exhaust piping. :bloated:
