96 4.3 knocks

I have a 96, 1500, 4.3, 127k. It has knock in engine had tranie rebuilt 3months ago. took it back to mech he said sounded like a rod. The knock is louder at high rpm. motor has 80 pounds oil pressure. any ideas????
