I don't know what the other stuff behind Kuhmo is but my friend has them in wrapped around some 18's. He said they are good and last pretty long. Who knows, probably the same thing. I ain't know tire tech, but I ain't no jackass either. he he:jump:

I have Ecsta Supra 712s. I really dislike them. Before I had them put on I had Bridgestone Potenza RE-910s. I love the Potenzas, very good dry traction, best rain tire I have ever driven, and the road noise is not a problem. The ecstas are inferior to the RE-910s in every aspect except price and the difference is about 5 bucks a tire. Did I mention the RE-910 isn't even a Z-rated tire.

kumho's suck. they're noisy, terrible in wet traction and they look so cheezy too. :( if you have some cash saved up, use it on decent tires, not some cheepo replacement substitute tire.
its like a cheezy looser going to a hyundai instead of a g because its both a 4dr sedan and comes with a steering wheel. ... sheeeesh.
i use RE910's too, just because they were priced competitively...not too bad a tire for a T-rated tire. had them on for about 4months...no complaints yet. great wet traction, very low noise, and good lookin too. :D
i wouldnt use RE910's on my weekend car though.

why not on the weekend car and T rated what speed can i get in those i drive a hour to work and a hour home so i run my car above 100 most of the time for about 45 minutes straight dont want to go faster on factory tires

Z-rated all the way for my weekend car. :D
check out tirerack for t-rated tire max speed. i wouldnt worry about 100mph...more or less bumps on the xpressway. hehehe. :D

I have them in 17's. They are not bad but I am comparing my new suspension agx adj with intrax to being on 14's ( Dunlaps ) with stock suspension.
I don't find them noisy. But I will I had gotten bitter tire period. maybe i little taller and wider ....
They look good standing still ...

I have them on my G20. Not bad but they do not perform well in wet weather, if you really have to stop sudden they slid easily. Oh well what do you want for Ebay tires and wheels for $300, 16s too...

I am actually running on some 215/40/17s 712s
Well...
It is not that bad...not that bad at all...
well...perheps my suspension setup is so good that it is doing most of the work :p
they are heaps better than the nanken i had? those were bad...
I had a set of Bridge Stone SO2 PP on my g20 b4 the nanken...
they were gone in less than half a year....hm....
the 712s use silican compound and apparently they have a much longer life than other compounds....
anyway...for the price i got them for...they were well worth it :)

I have the kuhmo 712's and I like them. They are not the best, but for their price they are worth it. They barely produce any road noise as well. Like all other low profile tires, their tread life is in the 30,000's. I would give them a 8 out of 10. :)

I agree with Wicked. I have the 712's on my car right now and I like them, but they're not comparable to the 520's i used to have. Good price, low road noise, good wear... it hasn't rained yet, so I don't know how they are in the wet, and nice look. I think i'm going to try the Falken AZENIS next though.. Any suggestions?
