Where is this fuel filter located at i am thinking about changing mine.....cause i am goin to tune my car up for the winter

It's on the passenger side of the firewall... It's a big cannister, and has some fuel lines going into the top of it through some weird looking bolts...

there are 2 fuel filters arent there? one near the rear left tire?

It's a black cylinder on the back of the firewall with 2 hoses going in it and supported with a bracket holding it to the fire wall. Real easy and straightforward installation. Just make sure to uncap the gas tank (to relieve pressure), put clamps on those 2 likes (to prevent gas leaks), and to torque those 2 banjo bolts down (so gas doesn't pour out when the fuel pump comes on, and ignite and kill you).
Fuel Injected cars only have the 1 filter, carb had 2 filters.

so in other words dont do it cause i am gonna lose gas and blow up lol.......what is this helm book everyone talks about....where can i get it

open your gasdoor and remove the cap first, that should release some fuel pressure...so it wont spray fuel when you remove the lines...
