oil, coolant, abs and check engine lights on, even with no key. motor cranks but will not start. has about 130K miles - been a great work truck. i know the oil is low. is there a fail-safe "no start if oil is low" on this truck? no info in owners manual. (coolant level is ok.)
thanks,
mike

All those lights point to some kind of gross failure, I would hook an OBD-II box up to the plug under the steering wheel and pull the codes out of it, they should tell you what is wrong.

more info - my son had a great idea to disconnect the battery - wait then reconnect. Now it will start! Dash lamps stay on, but I think I'll take it to a shop.....

Update -
Shop said wires deep inside steering column - they've seen it a few times before. Replaced steering column w/ used - all working OK now.
Hope this helps someone in the future...
