well we now have the 540 touring... so that it has similar power we need the 4.6 iS but it´s quite much more expensive then the 4.4
we´ll see... next weeks we´ll make a testdrive

Stefanel1:

I'm sorry refer to such an old post, but I just read it for the first time.

On one of your original posts on this thread, you mention that Peugeot is coming to the US around 2005...and we've already discussed our differences on this concept.

You also said that Alfa Romeo is returning to the US market in 2005, but it has been delayed until 2007 at the earliest.

While Autodelta is marketing Alfa Romeos in the US, they are not the equivalent of BMW's M or Mercedes-Benz' AMG. Autodelta was the name of a firm that raced and modified Alfa Romeos, but THIS Autodelta is not related to that company.

You're learning me something ! I did know Autodelta as a racer, but I though that this company which imported Alfa in the USA was related because it has the same name. thanks for the info !

I heard too that Alfa come back has been delayed, alas ! :(
But they prefer to develop their range : the 156 GTA M, the 166 GTA, the Brera (sporty coupé with a V8 Maserati !), etc.

>Menu : Nice car this X5 and very cool to drive with these V8.

One of the reasons for Alfa's delay, besides the redesign of the Spider/GTV and 157, is the new SUV coming.

Not like BMW or Porsche, just count how many you see a day and compare that to the BMW's you see.

To me Alfa is going to become the Italian BMW. They're making beautiful cars. 5 years ago, I prefered BMW, now, I don't know... Look a 166 and a 7 series !
An Alfa SUV... mhhh, Even Porsche does it, and Maserati will maybe do one.

i like Alfa a lot too, not as much as BM's though :p

youre right, alfa is becoming the Italian BMW. the 156 was made to steal sales from the 3-series, which it did very well.... i think people are still skeptical of Alfa Romeo however, which might hurt the sales of something like an SUV, where people will prefer to buy from a more established brand

since the last 3 years alfa is becoming a good car manufacturer.

The new Mini is the Car of the year 2003 in the USA.... (it's the topic :D )

The interior style of Alfa is very nice, not as nice as BMW maybe but very sporty. And the build quality is good now.

What have they done to improve on this? :)

Stefanel1

jsb88

The 147 and 156 GTA are very well made, the 166 too. Again, it's not as good as BMW or Audi, but it's as Peugeot or Nissan for example.

Alfa Romeo's concept car in beautiful. I can't think of what it is called, but it is very sporty and has a decent V8.
