94 lhs fault code 54

My lhs won't start I ran the codes and only got #54 which is the cam sensor.
I bought a new one at Autozone and put it in, still won't start.
I thought maybe the tensioner for the timing belt broke again. Pulled the timing cover and everything is ok in there.
What are the chances I got a bad cam sensor from Autozone?
What else could be the reason it's not starting?

:smokin: could be a crank sensor some times the computer in the car cannot tell the differnce between the cam sensor or crank sensor and will throw a code for the wrong sensor you need to test the senor

I'll pull the crank sensor and have it tested. Thanks.
