AC Knocking?

So i just recharged my AC system, and now I'm getting a knocking sound from around the area where the AC components are at. It only does that if the AC is on and if the hood is down. Sometimes after i drive it the fans will fucking sound like they are about to fly off! I mean it sounds really nasty but the AC works, the car doesn't act up. I don't know what it is.
