I have a 2001 f150 4.2 v6 with a cb radio. With the engine running it picks up a pretty bad what I beleive to be a rf signal from my fuel pump. Has anyone out there had the same problem and how have you dealt with it. I have just lived with it buy I dont like it. I know it is not the radio because I have tried a different one and still the same.. Thanks

You will need to spice an RF choke into the 12 volt wire that feeds power to the CB, get it as close to the CB as possible, this is a common problem with a lot of cars, CB radios, stereo amplifiers, and AM radios all pick up noise from the car.
Try the place you bought the CB from they might have RF chokes, if they don't try one of those shops that installs high powered car amplifiers, if they don't the only other place I can think of is a Ham Radio store.

The problem is not coming in from the power because I ran power in from another vehicle and tried it that way. Same problem. The rf signal is coming in from antenna when the engine is running.
