98 PA trunk/key ?'s

I have a 98 PA and the trunk will open with the remote and release button on the inside panel, but when I try to open it with any of the 2 keys they will not turn the cylinder at all. Any ideas?:nono:

I have a 1998 PA and it has only 1 key that runs ignition, door, and trunk. Maybe someone replaced the trunk lock at one point.

I have had that problem with our 99 PA. Get some good penetrant spray for this. I used Kroil oil and multi purpose lubricant. Open the trunk so the deck is up, so when you spray in the key hole it doesn't run right out. Let it sit for a while and repeat as many times as needed. I did this a few times and wouldn't you know, it worked. In 7 yrs of owning our PA, the key actually works in the trunk and doors now!
