The front a/c blower switch quit working at all after been working in one speed only (med) for 2 months
I checked the schematics and there is a blower motor resistor and relay pack This is the first thing I will check but I may be wrong

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Replaced the resistor pack, now I have blower but is blowing through the side and defroster vents only. I tried to switch from "max a/c" to "a/c normal" or "vent" and no change, I switched to "defrost" and felt the clutch dissengaging, but no change.

Thanks

Check the small,(1/8") black vacuum hose from the PCV valve fitting in the driver side rocker arm cover to the HVAC system connection near the evaporator housing under the hood. The hose crosses over the engine and has a tendency to dry out, crack and break. The HVAC system air flow will default to the DEFROST position if the mode switch in the dash loses vacuum.

I greatly appreciated. I will check on that A.S.A.P. and keep you posted

Found the hose dry rotted. I went to Auto Zone and Advance and they don't stock that size. I have to go to the dealer. Also, I can't reach the head cover from the hood. I have to remove the engine cover inside the van.
I will try this weekend to finish this job.
Thanks Old Master

Bring one of the fittings, and a piece of the old line to the parts store and get a rubber line that will fit snugly over it. Stuff it on each end on the vehicle and you're set!

I will do that this Saturday. I know it doesn't have to be the exact same hose, but something that fit the inside diameter
Thanks
