I just purchased a 2000 Malibu
6cyl.
102,000 miles

I have replaced the P0113 sensor, the windshield washer reservoir pump and some other minor parts.

I did an O/F change.

I am going to bring the car into a dealer to have the transmission fluid and antifreeze flushed and filled.

I would appreciate any advice and suggestions.

Thank you for your help!!

A coolant swap and a trans pan drop and filter change are good things to do at this point. Have you had the intake manifold gaskets changed on your 3.1L? They are probably on their way out if you havent. It's a ~$700 job. The 4T45E is easy to DIY:

Thank you for your suggestions. Bringing to the dealer Saturday for the Antifreeze and Transmission fluid. I figured for the first service to go to a dealer.
