Honda for DD. Cheap, reliable, and you can make them look good for little of nothing. I've had 2 95 civics...good cars.

Civic for sure. They are cheap and good DD. Get an 88 - 91 Civic/CRX/Hatch. You can find one for that price that runs. Get the 5 speed, they "seem" faster then auto. LOL

i say civic or acord. fair warning they dont hold up to well in recks. my gf just totaled hers ran into the back of a parked car doing 35 mph and totaled the piss out of it. very reliable cars and cheep and good on gas tho. her 96 acord had 130+++ and we had no problems out of it what so ever all i ever had to do was change the oil and replace a window motor.

Why not camry ? I seen many running t0 200k miles without the fucking tune up or timing belt change.

I still say Civic over the older Camry. You always here all the beater stories about those ya know? Plus it'll make you appreciate your DSM alot more when its time to roll it out the garage for spring.

As for me, damn I love Texas.
