Yesterday i talked to a mechanic, i told him what was going on..He told me that he didnt think it was the starter because of how i was describing what was going on..So he said that it may be badly flooded, (it does this sometimes but never for a week without starting) anyway he told me to go home and unplug the fuel injectors and see if it would start, if it does then to plug the injectors back up and it should start again..I did this and it did start with the injectors unplugged. It ran for a few seconds..So i plug them back up and it started for a second but i guess it is flooding itself..Any new ideas?

Check the resistance of each injector with an ohmmeter. The injectors (6 of them) are on top of the engine next to the fuel rail. There will be electrical plugs going into them. Unplug one at a time and check for about 12 to 13 ohms. A dead one will indicate close to 0 to .3. This particular problem will not trigger a computer trouble code. It sounds like your getting gas to it. You can check for a spark by simply unplugging one of the wires, install a separate spark plug (make sure it contacts a metal part of the engine) and crank it. You should see it sparking.

PS. If you have the 3.8 or 3.1, I've got a bunch of used injectors sitting in my garage. You can find them at junkyards also. New ones are about $80.00.
