high beam problem

Ok this is going to sound funny. :runaround: My grand marquis high beams will not shut off.the car is a 1992. Even when the car and switch are shut off the headlights stay on (only high beam). Hubby has changed the headlight switch and it has not changed a thing. Please anyone.... got any answers?

Did you have a delay switch that left the headlights on for a minute after you shut off the car ?

The turn signal/multi function switch is probably stuck. Try moving the lever back & forth real fast and see if it unsticks. If lights still on-replace multi function switch.
