My brothers 84 prelude finally gave up. He blew the head gasket and warped the head. Instead of rebuilding it I was thinking of putting the b18 in it from a gsr or if that wont fit the 1.6 twin cam b16. I've heard the 1.8 will fit nicely into a 89-91 prelude, I was wondering if I can do it to his junker. besides the engine, tranny, ecu, and mounts, can I get it in there without pulling the a/c and power steering, or cutting any cross members. he has the five speed carborated engine

I just wanted to tell you right now that it is going to be a lot of work. First of all you are going to have to swap out a new tank with fuel pump. Not to mention that the wiring on that is going to be a bitch. Does anyone know if a company makes motor mounts for that chassis?

hell go for it. find a shop that will do the mounts if you need that done. as far as the electronics go, get everything you can. grab the ecu, harness, mounts, hell get a whole front clip. take what you need and run.
