what is this hole thigie above the rear view mirror and what is that fake rear view mirror thing. 92 civic si

The "hole thingy" as you call it, is the manual sunroof crank, the "fake rear veiw mirror thing" is a small sunvisor to block the sun out over the mirror. Atleast i think that is what all that stuff is

Those fake things are lights for the interior.

As someone said. the cover is for the manual sunroof closure. There's a tool in your spare to pop it off and close the sunroof incase the motor burns out with it open.

The little visor thing came on 92-95 Civic (at least it did on my 1993 Civic Ex).

the hole for the sunroof tool incase you have to close your sunroof manually...
