Im trying to upgrade my headlight bulbs to sylvania silverstars, I was able to work the driver's side in with a little gumption and convincing...but the pass side seems to be blocked by ac stuff...how do I remove the headlamp assembly? I've tried the method I've found on here for the 2000 model, but it seems slightly different...I've removed the three bolts, but it doesn't seem to want to budge. Help! For now, I'm driving around with a really bright white light, and a yellowish halogen...I feel goofy!!!

It is possible to replace the bulb without removing the assembly. However, to remove the headlight assembly, there are three bolts to remove. Once the 3 bolts are removed, you need to loosen the pinch bolt. The pinch bolt is a long silver colored bolt that extends down to near the bumper frame. I believe all four are 10mm. You may need to wiggle the assembly a bit to break the corrosion loose.

If you only remove these three bolts and loosen the pinch bolt, and don't turn the small hex head shafts, it will not affect the aim of the headlight assuming you put all three bolts back in properly.
