I've been signed up on this website before as a different username in the evil Ford forums. Ive since wised up and moved on from Ford. Now Im looking to buy a Silverado/Sierra 1500 Z71 extended cab with a 5.3L with under 80,000 miles I would really like to find one that is already lifted that fits my requirements and budget. My budget is about $13,000. I fiqured I would ask on here as it seems like a semi-appropriate place to ask. Thanks in advance. If you would rather email me your answer than post it here my email is [email protected]

For what your looking for you request is gonna be pretty slim pickins, especially looking for something lifted.... Most of us lifted owners know we will never get back what we've put into our Silvys but we want to get at least half it back

Yeah I know it will be hard to find a truck that meets those requirements thats in my budget and Ive tried all the listing places (i.e. autotrader, craigslist, etc...) but I just want to cover all the bases so I thought I would try posting here as well.

you might want to try looking at chevy avalance there pretty trucks and very similar to the silverado, and look great (maybe even better than the silverado) with big tires and a lift kit. And they generally cost less than a silverado. good luck

The Avalanche does not cost less than a Silverado. Starting price for a Silverado is $17K. Starting price for a Avalanche is $33K
The new 07 avalanche's are definantly better looking than the 06's and prior.

I dont know about new ones but when i was looking at my truck the avalance counter part was cheaper...i dunno, then again i didnt look too hard into it, it could of been in an accident or something. same year, slightly higher milage was cheaper, almost got it.

I checked out the Avalanche cause I do like the look of them and all esp when they are lifted. But they are a lot harder to find and are more expensive.

I found one. Getting it tomorrow. A little more than I wanted to spend but I couldnt pass it up. '01 Silverado Z71 with a 5.3L and a 6" fabtech lift. It has a DVD player aftermarket head unit Line-X bedliner 4" aluminum drive shaft with 75,000 miles for $15,100. Pretty good I think.
