where can i get a tb?

where can i get the 76 mm throttle body?? cuz im interested in getting the badass manifold on 3si. i have an sl so what is a good est on hsp gain???

I think that matt monet has a stock TB and he ran nines.. If you looking for power I might look at some other options first.. but thats just me..

Yeah I think so.. 99% sure.. maybe ported his manifold a little but I don't even think he did that..

#1 You bumped a thread after 2 hours?? Cmon man.

#2 You arent going to see much if ANY increase with going with a 76mm TB. If you are talking about the Supermac manifold dont do it. Your car WILL BE A DOG after you put it on. NA DOHC's NEED the VICS system. That manifold is made for cars that already have huge HP and turbos even though Supermac claims it helps NA's.

#3 People are running insane numbers on STOCK TB and STOCK plenum. They are not a bottle neck on our engines.

does that include a tt conversion? or does the conversion normally take a swap of manifolds anyway?

TT isnt NA anymore. ;) You CAN keep the VICs if you do the swap correctly but its been proven to be detrimental to the TT's power/

if u wanna stay NA and get more power do some exhaust work (long tube headers), port & polish the heads, get some adjustable cam gears and/or cams.

yea i was gonna do exuast work anyways, those headers are expensive, but i no there effective. port and polish would be great. hey about the cam gears any advise on tuning?

I think many people would agree that the long-tubes aren't worth it if you're even slightly tight on money. Now if you can find a good set used, that's a different story lol

For cam gears, according to 3sx here (http://www.3sx.com/store/comersus_viewItemBundle.asp?idProduct=12152), common settings are +1 on intake cams and -3 on exhaust.

i got my 3SX headerd used for a steal. try the OBX ebay headers. ive heard goof things about them.

i know 2 ppl who have them. so far so good. welds look good, and fitment is nice. in addition, the chromed surface changes colors after a few heat cycles.
