weird noise

today i notice a ticking noise on the drivers side of the car when i push in the clutch it goes away please help its a 2000 eclipse gt

It's your throw out bearing (TOB), nothing you can do about it, it's nothing to worry about, end of story. No one else needs to reply to this topic because thats the answer. Had he said there was a ticking noise coming from the engine bay and it comes and goes as it pleases then I would say it was either the TOB or ticking lifters (which could still be the case). Either way, nothing you can do (maybe performance lifters would fix it if that were the case), nothing is hurting, just get used to it. Sorry
