Hey everybody....I havent really had time to get on here lately....been workin five days a week 11 hours at day at a yamaha dealership. Im layed up in the bed right now bored and I just feel like venting. I had an accident at work where I broke my leg. I don't want to get into all the details about the accident but....i was riding a breeze (baby 4 wheeler) and kinda launched it off of like a 6 or 8 foot loading dock at the back of the building.....i hit the concrete.....and kinda got tangeled up in the atv. I tried to move my left leg and couldnt so i got my phone out of my pocket and called one of my co workers who called the ambulance. I went to the hostpital and had surgery. It was my left femur that i broke...they put a titanium rod in it. Well I stayed at the hostpital for 2 days....im at home now...the accident happened on wednsday. Sometimes Im good then sometiems the pain is crazy. School started back yesterday and im supposed to be a senior but because of what happened I couldnt even start school back. But my school is going to work with me through their "homebound" program so i dont miss anything. The doctor said that i should be good in like 2 months and since im so young i should heal good. I dont think i have to go back to school for like 4 months though...I'll stay out as long as I can. lol.
Onto other stuff, i got my 95 civic dx all dissasemble and prepped for paint...and as soon as i heal im gonna finish that. Goin from red to dark metallic green....pretty color. I'm probably going to get some rims for it real soon. I wanna go with either a black or bronze wheel around 16". Got a few picked out.
And my eclipse..I'm ready to convert to external wastegate. DNP has a nice setup...cost a grand but if the manifold holds up and doesnt crack its worth it. Anyone have any experience with DNP...I read on tuners that their stuff was of excellent quality.
Heres some info on it. What you think?
Replace your rusty header with DNP's stainless steel exhaust manifold. It is an equal length design with a strong 5 bracket support.
DNP's manifold was designed to maximize the exhaust flow for the fastest turbo spool up.
What is good about our manifold??
better cooling
light weight
stainless steel wont rust
say good bye to cracking
smooth SS piping
no porting needed
The external waste gate helps the turbo spool up faster.
No more over boost!
This kit includes S
- High flow O2 housing
- TIAL 38mm wastegate
- High flow exhaust manifold

Damn man that really sucks, hope you get better fast. And your missing your senior year, thats the best year of highschool.
Manifold looks nice, even though its a little expensive. You should run your wastegate to atmosphere, its sounds so good.

Yea, I was thinking about just trying to get that manifold and wastegate and having my expert welding buddy to make me a atmospheric dump tube. But that kit looks so nice, IDK. The only thing I'm really worried about is the manifold. I hope I get better fast too...but about school...I dont care.
